Founder, Coach, Virtual Facilitator. Pronouns She/Her or They/Them
“In many shamanic societies, if you came to a medicine person complaining of being disheartened, dispirited, or depressed, they would ask one of four questions: “When did you stop dancing? When did you stop singing? When did you stop being enchanted by stories? When did you stop being comforted by the sweet territory of silence?” -Gabrielle Roth
As the founder of Creative Spirit Collaborative, my intention in my work with clients is to be a steward of healing of wise relationships between humanity and nature, plants, and animals as well as wise relationships with the lost dark, creative, light, and inspirational parts of ourselves. This type of work is the most profound honor and adventure of my lifetime.
My life long history with dance and befriending the earth and animals from a young age has guided me to the Somatics and Ecopsychology approaches used at CSC. My interests in harmonizing my work with the earth, embodiment and movement, Expressive Arts, and mindfulness/meditation deepened during my academic work. My Master’s Degree from Naropa University in Wilderness Therapy was founded on Transpersonal Psychology. During this grad program I had an incredible opportunity to cross-pollinate with studies in an eclectic variety of healing practices such as Ecopsychology, Expressive Arts and Somatics. My Bachelor’s Degree from Bastyr University emphasized nutrition, exercise, and alternative healing practices such as yoga and qi gong.
I am a lover of learning and I continue to evolve through additional ongoing education including a year long nature based meditation training, Awake in the Wild Teacher Training with Mark Coleman, Practical Animism and Animist Psychology with Dr Danial Foor, and a Jungian Certificate from the Zur Institute. I have also studied Yoga philosophy in depth since 2010 with teacher Dave Curtis’s Aksara Yoga and have had an ongoing yoga and meditation practice since 2000. The heart of my connection with the earth is further woven into my life through regular wilderness solos starting in 2005 which I have continued since then, every few years with a variety of teachers. I have also continued various embodiment practices in Authentic Movement, BodyMind Centering, Continuum Movement, and Tamalpa Life Art Process as well as various breathwork practices. I also had additional training as a Life Wellness Coach from WellCoaches in 2003.
I work with a wide variety of people but have specialized experience working with adults who are talented and gifted in unusual and creative ways. I also have a background in emergency medical services and alternative healing practices working with my own health issues which makes me uniquely suited to support adults who are experiencing chronic or terminal illness as well as healthcare providers. I also have extensive background in working with spiritual emergence, social, environmental, or existential concerns, or those in long term recovery from eating disorders or addiction. I am available for individual counseling, coaching, community therapeutic groups, workshops, and retreats as well as meditation, yoga, or breathwork facilitation.
“Enchantment is the oldest form of medicine.” -Carl Jung
“People need celebration in their life. It’s part of what it means to be human. We need magic, bliss, …myth, and celebration in our lives. And music (and movement and art) is a good way to encapsulate a lot of it.” -Jerry Garcia
I am NOT currently accepting new therapy clients.

Therapist, Virtual Facilitator. Pronouns She/Her
“Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day I can hear her breathing.” -Arundhati Roy
I aspire to have a revolutionary approach to therapy, an approach that supports growth towards all of our freedom. And I am still in the process of decolonizing a colonized body and mind, just as you are. I am inspired by Sonya Renee Taylor’s body-based, radical self-love as espoused in her book and social movement The Body Is Not An Apology. I honor the lens of intersectionality – the acknowledgement that bodies bear differing levels of burden according to their position within multiple oppressive systems, and do my best to be an ally in empowering all bodies to be free, with regulated nervous systems. I would like to name that I feel like I am a particularly strong ally for queer folks; I love what queerness brings into the world, some of my closest people are queer, and I have experience working with a variety of LGTBQ+ individuals as a therapist. Additionally, I have lived significant portions of my life in Latin America, speak Spanish, and would be honored to work with Spanish speaking clients.
“Pleasure is the point. Feeling good is not frivolous, it is freedom.” -Adrienne Maree Brown
Increasingly I recognize a regulated nervous system as a cornerstone of well being within our bodies. And thus I am drawn to learning about Polyvagal theory and all practices that help us maintain a regulated nervous system, including pleasure, creativity, and connection with Source/Spirit. Some of the forms of creative self-expression that have most supported me are writing, dance, and singing, and I would love to support your creative process as a part of your healing journey. Some things that bring me joy and pleasure include singing in community, dancing in community, being in nature, rock climbing, and any other backcountry adventuring that I can access, such as canyoneering or rafting. Nature was one of my strongest allies and regulating forces in my childhood and my connection to the earth is strong. Just as we co-regulate together, we can co- regulate with the earth; nature is one of the strongest and most reliable regulating forces we can access.
As a mother of two young adults, I have lived through many stages of the lifespan, which helps me support you through the many transitions of life, whether it be learning to adult, marriage, divorce, parenting, role changes, the loss of a loved one, a spiritual awakening, or any significant change really. I love to honor the depth and power of transitions and am well versed in the transformative nature of grief. I have been influenced by grief teachers such as Sobonfu Some and Francis Weller, as well as my own significant grief processes. Becoming capable of feeling our pain is one of the strongest and most revolutionary things we can do. A society cannot be healthy until it has metabolized its pain, and we have so much.
Life has presented me with a wealth of challenges, from significant childhood trauma, to relational loss, multiple head injuries, and a host of mysterious health symptoms, which has given me the opportunity to learn a lot about the nuances and many layers of healing. I have had to reach for the largess of my soul and the unconditional love of my spiritual support team to make it through the hardest times, and I am grateful for the inner sense of connection and resilience this has forged. For that reason, I am experimenting with how to bring Spirit, soul, and energy work into therapeutic sessions, for I believe these are essential resources that we should all have access to, and that make the healing process more efficient. In addition to being a trained mental health therapist, I am a budding channel and light language practitioner. Sessions may include things such as prayer, intention setting, ceremony, light language, and creative self expression, in ways that seek to align with your belief systems. My therapeutic approach draws heavily on Internal Family Systems Therapy. I find its parts work model to be an elegant representation of the fractal nature of the universe. As we learn to love and integrate all of our parts into a harmonious whole, we become more adept at loving all that we witness in humanity so that together we can become a more harmonious whole, owning and integrating its pain and darkness.
Like any good healer, my aim is to support you in accessing your own wisdom and movement towards healing, wholeness, and empowerment. My tools, skills, perspectives, and experience are in service to you taking responsibility for yourself while leaning into the mystery of what healthy interdependence looks like. Thus I work best with those who are ready to be active in their own healing process. I am not the best person to go to if you are in active crisis – in this case you will likely be better served in a larger agency with more wrap around services. That being said, if you are in a more stabilized place, I am open to working with all trauma histories.
“Liberation is the opportunity for every human, no matter their body, to have unobstructed access to their highest self, for every human to live in radical self-love.” -Sonya Renee Taylor
If you are seeking depth, sensitivity, and compassion in a practitioner with the capacity to span the breadth from the embodied to the spiritual, the mundane to the mystical, the personal to the political, that’s me. I would be honored to help you navigate life’s greatest challenges. I hope at the very least our work together can inspire trust in you – trust in yourself and your meaningful place in the world, trust in a life force that is guiding us towards love, no matter how convoluted the path may seem.
I am currently accepting new clients with the following providers: Private Pay, PacificSource Commercial, PacificSource OHP, BCBS, and Shasta Administrative.

Virtual Facilitator. Pronouns He/Him
“You do not consist of the elements: earth, water, fire, air, or even akasha. To be liberated, know yourself as consisting of consciousness, the witness of these.” -Ashtavakra Gita
I am a renaissance man with a deep love and curiosity for the natural world. Along my journey, I’ve been a bartender, janitor, radio dream interpreter, research project manager, spiritual teacher, business owner, author, minister, and throughout them all, a student of consciousness. I began my inner journey during my last year at Texas A&M University in 2007, and earned my Doctorate of Divinity from the College of Metaphysics (COM) in 2016. Since then, I've been on a self-directed journey to understand myself and the secrets of the universe, primarily through the vehicles of meditation, and deep contemplation and practice with the elements Earth, Fire, Water, Air, and Space. It's my hope and life's work to now bring these practices to you.
At heart, I’m a spiritual teacher, and the most fulfilling work I do involves helping others remember their wholeness. My influences include ancient texts and philosophies ranging from the Upanishads to the Tao, elemental practices rooted in buddhism and hermeticism, mystery schools including COM and the Golden Dawn, and embodied awareness from teachers like Philip Shepherd and Richard Rudd (and the Gene Keys system). I truly believe that each of us has a core-centered place of awareness and intuition, beyond the head-dominant perspective of most of our society, today. I also believe that we are dynamic, spiritual beings who are deeply interconnected with each other and with the natural world. Much of our collective work now involves slowing down, listening, and remembering that we grow like trees.
"The most valuable act of learning in our lives is to unlearn what is untrue." -Antisthenes
I found Creative Spirit Collaborative when I lived in Oregon (2022-2025) and I'm grateful to remain connected and offer my services virtually in Texas. I now work with clients in Gene Keys coaching (virtually), because it's the most comprehensive system I've encountered for cultivating profound awareness and harmony within my own energy and the way I move in the world. You can also find a ton of my recorded content on our Virtual Resources platform on Patreon, including guided meditations, breathwork, ecotherapy, expressive arts practices, rituals, courses, blog series, and more! When I'm not collaborating with CSC, I serve as faculty for 200-hr and 300-hr advanced YTT programs through The Alchemy Yoga in Texas, and frequently host classes and workshops in the North Texas area. I also host a YouTube channel called Elemental Mindfulness, and work with people in 1-on-1 sessions for deep, elemental purification and nervous system reset practices, as well as esoteric ritual and ceremony integration work.
Sessions with me are like a combination of soul-coaching, yoga training, & shamanic apprenticeship. In our journey together, it's ultimately my intention to help you remember your wholeness & your power. This physical world is challenging to navigate, and the more we awaken to the realities of consciousness behind the veil, the more we come to understand how to relax into our authentic selves despite the chaos around us. Secret knowledge and power lie dormant everywhere, both within us and in the world around us; it's up to us to discover it. To remember it. And whether that "it" for you looks like enlightenment or bliss or clarity or even just a little more happiness, I'm ready to join you for this part of your journey.
Until you join me for retreats in Oregon or we connect virtually while I'm in Texas, may you be happy, healthy, and at peace!
You can work with me 1-on-1 in Gene Keys sessions, both in 1-off sessions and in extended coaching. Right now I only meet clients virtually.
You can also find me on our Virtual Resources platform on Patreon, where I offer guided meditations, breathwork, expressive arts, and ecotherapy practices, as well as contribute to regular written series.
Admin, Virtual Facilitator. Pronouns She/Her
I work on the client intake and administrative side of things, helping to keep us running behind the scenes. I view my role here at Creative Spirit as the weaver between client and therapist. I find fulfillment in hearing peoples’ stories and helping to connect them with a therapist that best fits their needs based on where they are at in their journey.
I completed my Bachelors of Psychology and Contemplative Studies at Oregon State University and joined CSC after time with the Neuro Meditation Institute. My long term goal is to obtain my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Naropa University, where there would be an emphasis on Mindfulness Meditation in the program. As meditation has been an integral part of my healing journey, having the opportunity to integrate this practice into the curriculum feels immensely in alignment.
I feel inspired by immersive experiences out in nature, reading an enticing novel, mindfully observing animals in their natural state of being, working with and tending to plants as well as studying and practicing various styles of meditation and yoga.
You can also find me on our Virtual Resources platform on Patreon, where I offer guided meditations and research-driven articles.
Admin, Virtual Facilitator. Pronouns She/Her
I help weave the back-end magic here at CSC by supporting the Admin Team with client intake, marketing, and administrative tasks. Therapy and alternative healing have transformed my life, which makes me extremely passionate about hearing people’s stories and connecting them to therapists or groups that will best support them. I love being a networker and am also eager to expand CSC’s community, so more people can be apart of all we have to offer.
I graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy and a minor in Business Marketing. After college, I delved into my passions and created women’s circles centered on embodiment, Somatics, and health. I am certified as a Birth Doula, Placenta Encapsulator, and offer Lymphatic Breast Massage. Somatic expression isn’t just a CSC pillar but has also played a significant role in my own healing journey
Outside of work, I enjoy slow walks in nature, kickboxing, writing, dancing, creating delicious food, nurturing my inner child through play, connecting with friends, and embarking on new adventures.
“I wondered, 'Why have I been chasing happiness my whole life when bliss was here the entire time?'” –Elizabeth Gilbert

Virtual Facilitator. Pronouns She/Her
“I swear I will not dishonor my soul with hatred, but offer myself humbly as a guardian of nature, as a healer of misery, as a messenger of wonder, as an architect of peace.” -Diane Ackerman
Hello loves. My name is Gillian DeBruno, holistic practitioner and co-creator of wholeness. I am here to support you on your journey back to yourself. My work with people includes a mix of coaching, family dynamic exploration, grounding techniques, reiki sessions, a sense of humor, inner child work, intuitive healing, and an unwavering compassion for the human condition. Working towards becoming more aware of your body is a gateway to being in your body and having access to your full self. I believe that healing work is collaborative and I will create a space of nonjudgement for us to explore your reality together.
I pride myself on being perceptive, non-judgemental, quick witted, humorous, honest, and compassionate. I like to work with folks who are interested in discovering the inner workings of their hearts and minds, who are committed to growth, and who are ready to collaborate on their healing process. I do my best to show up in a way that respects and uplifts your lived experience. Social justice discussions are honored in my healing space. I am LGBTQ affirming, available to explore social location, aware of systems of oppression, and accountable for my words and actions.
Traditional education: I hold a masters degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy from Lewis and Clark College as well as a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Oregon. I have 20 years experience working with individuals, children, and families in varied therapeutic settings. I specialized in Sex Therapy for my masters with a focus in social equity.
Alternative/Spiritual education: Gaining my reiki mastership over the course of 10 years has allowed me time to integrate the teachings into my everyday life. Energy medicine can be a helpful tool to utilize when the stories of the mind make it difficult to be with what is. Astrology, archetypes, tarot, ritual and ceremony are all lenses that I look through when designing healing programs with clients. I love conversations about spiritual awakenings, empathic abilities, guides/ancestors, and intuitive knowing. My education and life experience has led me to a more holistic approach to healing and growth. I have the credentials to be a traditional therapist and in order to provide all of my skill set, I have moved away from solely offering talk therapy. I will still use my education to support you while including “alternative” healing modalities like reiki and somatics for a well rounded experience.
“A healer does not heal you. A healer is someone who holds space for you while you awaken your inner healer, so that you may heal yourself.” -Maryam Hasna
